The federal government has flagged-off the cash grant for rural women in the South-East. According to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social development, Sadiya Umar Farouq launched the program in Ebonyi State on Thursday, November 19. The Federal Government said it would resume meeting with the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU on Friday. The Ministry of Labour and Employment spokesman, Charles Akpan, disclosed that the dialogue with the ASUU leaders would hold at the Minister’s conference hall. The Federal government has announced a plan to re-open more airports in the country. The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika announced this via a tweet on Tuesday. He said the Ministry of Aviation is working with the Ministry of Health and the Presidential Task Force, PTF to re-open Kano airport. The Director-General of the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has reminded Corps members that white-collar jobs were not readily available.
