The World Health Organization, WHO has unveiled plans on the supply of COVID-19 vaccines. According to the Director-General of the WHO, Tedros Ghebreyesus, the initial supply of the vaccines will be limited. He revealed that health workers, older people and other at-risk populations will be prioritised. The WHO Boss expressed optimism that the move will reduce the number of deaths. The Commissioner of Health in Enugu State, Dr Emmanuel Obi has confirmed the outbreak of Yellow fever in the state. Obi listed the affected three Local Government Areas as Nsukka, Isi-Uzo and Igbo-Etiti. He stated that the state government has received reports of strange deaths within the communities.
