The Presidential Task Force, PTF on COVID-19, has announced the age limit for COVID-19 vaccination in the country. According to Olorunnimbe Mamora, the Minister of State for Health, Nigerians under 18 years will not receive the vaccine, adding that the Federal Government planned to vaccinate 70 per cent of Nigerians within two years. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has reacted to speculations about an imminent increase in petrol price in the country. The Federal government has announced the delivery date for the AstraZeneca Vaccine In Nigeria. A former Lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye, has levelled serious allegations against Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has alerted the public on the fake Twitter Accounts supposedly belonging to the Commission’s new Chairman, Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa. According to the anti-graft agency, three of the fake accounts created in the last few days are AbdurasheedBawa, AbdulrBawa and AbdulrashidBaw. The EFCC noted that the fake Twitter accounts have been attracting followers in droves, believing they were dealing with the new EFCC Chairman. Yoruba youths under the aegis of Oodua Youth Coalition, OYC, has issued threats over an attempt to arrest Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho. The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has warned the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, over its decision to ban Cryptocurrency in the country. Speaking at the CBN/Bankers Committee’s Initiative for Economic Growth, the Vice President called for robust Cryptocurrency regulation instead of its prohibition. Cattle and Foodstuff dealers under the Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria have embarked on a nationwide strike.
