The United Kingdom has suspended the recruitment of health workers from Nigeria and 46 other countries. In its updated Code of Practice, the Government noted that the suspension would help meet the UK’s target of delivering 50,000 more nurses by 2024. The Nigerian Government has launched a temporary passport to replace the Paper-type, hitherto issued to Nigerians in Diaspora desirous of returning home but don’t have regular standard Passport.
