The Senate has confirmed Abdulrasheed Bawa as the substantive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Barely a week after the abduction of about 27 students and staff of the Government Science Secondary School Kagara, suspected bandits have attacked Manta village in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger state. Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde has issued an order that the Sasa Market in Akinyele local government area of the State be reopened. The Nigerian Airforce has confirmed that a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft crashed while returning to the Abuja Airport after reporting an engine failure enroute to Minna.
