The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has on Tuesday approved the full resumption of operations of both food markets and non-food markets. Sanwo-Olu said the markets are now to open daily. Following reports about the discovery and looting of COVID-19 warehouses in some parts of the country, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, ICPC says it will be investigating the rationale behind the storage of the palliatives. The Socio-Economic Rights And Accountability Project, SERAP has kicked against the fines slammed on Channels Tv, Arise Tv and African Independent Television, AIT by the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, who accused the media houses of covering the EndSARS protests.
