The federal government has approved the free registration of about 250,000 Business names nationwide. According to the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, 6, 606 business names will be registered in 34 states. However, Abia, Lagos and Kano will have 7, 906, 9,084 and 8, 406 respectively. It was stated that the registration is part of the federal government’s post-COVID-19 pandemic survival intervention. Meanwhile, the intervention is targeted at supporting micro and small businesses to formalise their businesses. The Commissioner of Police in Ebonyi state, Mr Philip Maku said suspected hoodlums have cut off the manhood of a Police Inspector, Mr Egu Omini. Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT has arrested, paraded and arraigned 201 suspected looters who were accused of looting in the Nation’s capital.
