He urged all law-abiding citizens of the State to stay calm and go about their legitimate businesses, adding that they could call 615 toll-free to report security breaches in Oyo State.
Makinde, who made this known via his Twitter handle, noted that his administration was aware of the events regarding Iskilu Wakili at the Kajola community in Ibarapa North.

Iskilu Wakili
You will recall that men of the Oodua Peoples Congress and other local security groups had earlier arrested Iskilu Wakili over suspected killings and kidnappings in Ibarapa.
Reacting to the arrest, the OPC leader, Gani Adams, confirmed that Wakili had been handed to the police in Igbo Ora.
Meanwhile, some Igangan town residents have called on the Oyo State Police Command to immediately release the Oodua Peoples Congress’s men detained for arresting Iskilu Wakili.
President Igangan Development Advocates Oladokun Oladiran made the demand after reports that the three OPC men were detained for arresting Wakili.
