The Chief Executive Officer of TVC Communications, Andrew Hanlon has cleared the air over the alleged sack of 250 workers.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the CEO noted that the job of all the 550 staff of the Organization are safe and secure.
The clarification is coming on the heels of rumour making the rounds that 250 jobs were lost following the recent arson attack on the studios of TVC located at Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos state.
Hanlon added that the reference to 250 jobs is related to the employees in the organization who had been physically displayed due to the fire at the TVC premises.
However, the CEO said the displacement does not mean that those employees had lost their jobs due to the fire.
He opined that all the staff of the Organization have their job intact.
Hanlon said the displayed staff have only been relocated to temporary offices pending when the Organization will build a bigger television studio complex.
You will recall that some arsonists attacked TVC and MAX FM where they burnt several vehicles including cars belonging to the workers.
The two stations were attacked following the shooting at Lekki Toll Gate on Tuesday October 20, where soldiers opened fire on peaceful EndSARS protesters.
