Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, issued a stern warning to EndSARS protesters that were planning to stage a fresh protest tagged “Occupy Lekki Toll Gate”. The Federal Executive Council has approved the construction of the 1st National ICT Park to serve as a focal point for the supervision of private and public ICT hubs in Nigeria. The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has unveiled a new concept to enhance road safety nationwide. The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, said the Federal Government had started arrangements to replace the Bank Verification Number (BVN) with the National Identity Number (NIN). Suspected herdsmen have reportedly invaded a farm settlement at Oha village in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State and killed a farmer. The victim identified as Dele Olowoniyi was found dead with machete cuts in his neck and other parts of his body. The Federal Government has placed a 72-hour suspension on outbound Emirates flights from Nigeria, following a violation of the Presidential Task Force’s guidelines on COVID-19.
