Occupy Lekki Toll Gate: Lai Mohammed Reveals FG’s Plan

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, issued a stern warning to EndSARS protesters that were planning to stage a fresh protest tagged “Occupy Lekki Toll Gate“.

Speaking on the planned protest, the Minister revealed that the federal government has said that security agencies are ready to stop another version of the EndSARS protests.

According to him, the government would not tolerate any protest to block the Lekki Toll Gate, adding that demonstrations are constitutionally allowed only in designated places but not toll gates.

The Minister said the security agents are ready for any eventuality.

Mohammed said looting, killing of innocent civilians, and razing private and public property would not happen again.

He said intelligence report indicated that some of those planners are not in Nigeria.

Occupy Lekki Toll Gate reported that the Lagos State government had taken actions against the upcoming Lekki Tollgate protest planned to hold on February 13, 2021, to demand justice for the #EndSARS Lekki Tollgate massacre victims.

According to Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos State governor, Gboyega Akosile, state residents have been advised not to participate in the fresh protest.

The Occupy Lekki Toll Gate protesters demanded to know the person or persons who gave the order for the shooting of innocent and armless #EndSARS protesters by men of the Nigerian army.
