A self-acclaimed Evangelist identified as Chukwuemeka Obijofa has allegedly killed his wife and 4-year-old son in Anambra State.
Obijofa, who was paraded alongside some other suspects at the Police headquarters in Amawbia, explained why he killed his and son with a shovel in Ofufe Nza village in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the State.
The suspect confessed to killing his wife and son after discovering that she had been cheating on him for long.
Obijofa explained that he went to get money from a client when he found out that their food was not enough for them only to get back to see his late wife with two strange men.
Meanwhile, Obijofa said the Indian hemp he took to appease his anger, triggered it instead.
Evangelist Kills Wife
The suspect noted that it became evident that another demon or extraordinary spirit possessed him after taking the Indian hemp.
Obijofa said he was ordained in 2012 as an evangelist but later fell out from God’s mercy.
However, he warned against taking hard drugs, adding that it has a way of impacting another spirit in anyone who takes such.
