In a bid to discourage open defecation in Oyo State, the State House of Assembly has announced that residents who defecate openly in any part of the state will begin to serve one-week non-custodial punishment or pay a fine. The Federal Government has on Monday, December 21 announced the imposition of fresh COVID-19 restrictions amid the rising cases of coronavirus infections in the country.
