The president of the Republic of Burundi, Pierre Nkurunziza has died of a heart attack at the age of 55. The Burundi government released this in a statement released on its twitter page on Tuesday 9th June 2020. The President died at the Karusi Fiftieth Anniversary Hospital in Burundi. A 35-year-old man in Ogun state has been reprimanded in court for the rape of a physically challenged girl in the state. The man, Kehinde who lives in Abule Isale, Ilogbo road in Ogun state was said to have raped the girl at his residence on Thursday 12th February at about 10:30pm according to the prosecutor, Insp. The High Court in Kaduna State has sentenced a man to death by hanging for the rape of a 2-year-old girl to death in Kaduna State. The Court ruled against Umar Shehu Bashir who committed the crime in 2015, taking the 2-year-old girl, Fatima to his room and forcefully raping her.
