As lawmakers make move to impeach the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, the leadership of the state House of Assembly has suspended two lawmakers. Amid proper scrutineering at the airports, domestic flight operations have resumed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. Given the negative effect of Coronavirus outbreak, the African Development Bank, AfDB, has disclosed that an additional 49 million Africans are at risk of extreme poverty. According to the comprehensive socio-economic assessment of the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact made available by the bank, West and Central Africa is likely to be the worst hit. In reaction to the plot to impeach him, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi has approached a Federal High Court in Abuja to stop the impeachment process.
