As lawmakers make move to impeach the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, the leadership of the state House of Assembly has suspended two lawmakers.
The affected lawmakers are the Deputy Speaker of the house, Iroju Ogundeji, and another member of the House, Adewale Williams and they were both accused of unruly behaviour.
The deputy speaker, Ogundeji is one of the lawmakers who dissociated themselves from the impeachment process of Agboola Ajayi.
Ondo Assembly Suspends Deputy Speaker
You will recall that the lawmakers have served an impeachment notice on the deputy speaker and he has also approached a federal high court in Abuja to stop the impeachment process.
The Deputy Governor has been in the news for some days after he dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC to join the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
