The Federal Government of Nigeria says it has rolled out schemes targeted at supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In a tweet via the official handle of the Government of Nigeria, it was revealed that the schemes would save 300,000 jobs in 100,000 MSMEs. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed that the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja has 18 new COVID-19 cases, one death while twenty-one patients were discharged on Monday, August 10. Police says no fewer than 43 bodies have been recovered after a massive landslide triggered by monsoon rains which swept away several estate workers in southwestern India.
