Northern State Governors

It was gathered that the Forum of North-East Governors, on Saturday, vowed to support the effort of the Federal Government in reviving the Almajiri system of education as well as bring positive solutions that will end street begging.
The North-East governors resolved to support the management and Board of the North–East Development Commission with an agreement to work towards producing a comprehensive master plan for the region to ensure sustainable development.
However, the forum affirmed its commitment to support the Federal Government agenda of transforming the Almajiri system to strengthen both Islamic and western education.
