A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Osita Okechukwu, has revealed that the ruling party might pick Bola Tinubu as President Buhari’s successor. The Federal Capital Territory Administration has alerted Abuja residents over a deadly disease that hit the city. According to the FCTA, cholera and severe diarrhoea has killed 60 residents. Dr Ramatu Aliyu, the FCT Minister of State, disclosed this in Pyakasa and Gwagwa communities to continue sensitization on cholera and other acute diarrhoeal diseases. The Minister confirmed that suspected cholera cases in the FCT rose from 604 to 698 within 72 hours. Aliyu said Abaji Area Council recorded three suspected cases with no death. The Nigerian government has pressed fresh charges against the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu. According to Abubakar Malami, the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF and Minister of Justice, the court would be hearing cases on murder, terrorism, banditry and criminality, adding that the ongoing trial has taken another course.
