Zlatan Ibrahimovic Scores an Overhead Kick Goal to Extend Milan Unbeaten Run
Former Barcelona and Paris St-Germain Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored an acrobatic late winner as AC Milan sealed their First place position. They played against bottom place Udinese in the weekend and came out victorious winning 2-1.
The 39-year-old hooked in a seventh goal in just four league appearances this season. Zlatan after the said: “Mine was a good goal but the victory counts more.” “We are among the youngest teams in Europe, I take the blame for raising the average age, but they all make me feel younger.”
Ibrahimovic now has 17 goals in 22 Serie A games in his second spell with Milan. He created the first goal for Franck Kessie before Rodrigo de Paul pulled Udinese level from the penalty spot.
But the former Manchester United and Juventus star gave his side the win in the 83rd minute of the game. Ibrahimovic scored yet another acrobatic goal for his side. He did well to beat Udinese defenders Rodrigo Becao and Sebastian de Maio and also goalkeeper Juan Musso with a close-range overhead kick. He is currently the top goal scorer with with seven goals.
AC Milan have been unbeaten in 24 matches since competition resumed in June after the coronavirus lockdown.
