Following Arsenal’s win over West Ham United, their former player Alexis Sanchez took to his Instagram page to applaud the London side for the effort this season. Arsenal made another step closer to a top-four finish with the win over West Ham United on Sunday. After the game, Granit Xhaka posted on his Instagram page saying: “Three BIG points – now we prepare for the next one.”
Alexis Sanchez still have Love for Arsenal
In response, Alexis Sanchez commented “Gunners” along with clapping emojis. Though the comment itself is relatively mundane, it’s not often we see Alexis talking about his old club nowadays. Ever since his move to Manchester United, there’s been animosity between the Arsenal fans (and even some players) and the winger. Those negative feelings have somewhat cooled as the 33-year-old flopped in Manchester before finding his feet further afield with Inter Milan.

Alexis who spent some time with Arsenal before joining Manchester United had his the London Stadium, having scored a hat-trick on his first appearance there. That 5-1 win, in which he also provided an assist, had to be one of his best days in an Arsenal shirt. Sunday’s performance wasn’t quite on that level, but the win could prove far more important in the final standings.
