Cristiano Ronaldo Wins the 2020 Golden Foot Award
Cristiano Ronaldo has been given the 2020 Golden Foot Award, the former Juventus striker beat arch-rival Lionel Messi and Uefa player of the year Robert Lewandowski to win the award. The award is organised by the World Champions Club company also had the likes of Neymar, Sergio Aguero, Sergio Ramos and so many other nominees for the 2020 edition.
Also in the list are Chiellini, Gerard Pique, Mohamed Salah and Arturo Vidal, but at the end of the day, the Portuguese striker who took the award home the name of the award is ‘Vecchia Signora.’

35-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo had more votes compared to others, thanks to his sublime form last season when he scored 37 goals and registered 6 assists in 46 matches for Juventus. The award was given based on votes, the president of the Italian club, Andrea Agnelli, was also awarded the first Golden Foot Prestige.
This award is a special one becuase it only be won by an individual once in his or her lifetime. The previous winner is Lukas Modric, he won it in 2019, and the likes of former Real Madrid goalkeeper Casillas, Cavani, Buffon and Andrés Iniesta have all won the award in the past.
