Mohamed Salah Finally Test Negative
Liverpool and Egypt star player Mohamed Salah have presented his third coronavirus test result. According to reports, the player has finally tested negative after presenting two positive coronavirus result. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed he would return to training on today, November 23, 2020.
The 28-year-old tests positive for COVID-19 while he was on international duty with Egypt. He was involved in his brother’s wedding party it was recorded if he had the virus from the party. He is no the only player in the Egyptian national team to test positive for the virus. Arsenal’s Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny also tested positive for the virus.
Klopp revealed that Mohamed Salah will resume training ahead of their Champions League clash with Serie A side Atalanta. According to the manager, he said: “I heard that Salah has tested negative. We have UEFA testing, he will be in that, he can now train with the rest of the squad.”
Salah was not in action for his side last night when they rolled over Leicester City 3-0 at Anfield and it did not look like he was missed. Diego Jota, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane did well to ensure the defending champions extended their home unbeaten run in the English Premier League clock 64 games. Liverpool are now joint-top of the Premier League table with Tottenham after playing the same number of matches.
