English Premier League defending champions Manchester City is reportedly lining up an improved offer for England and Tottenham Hotspur skipper Harry Kane. The Citizens are looking for a replacement for Sergio Aguero, and the Englishman seems to be the only one in their mind.
Manchester City Step up Harry Kane’s Interest
The club owner Khaldoon Al-Mubarak sees Kane as the perfect replacement for the Argentine, so they are willing to step up their deal for the player. The England captain has allegedly told Spurs that he wants to move this summer, and City is believed to have had a £100m bid knocked back by the North London club last month.
Reports have it that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his skipper Kevin de Bruyne with the rest of the City players are all ready to welcome the attacker. The club is preparing a new-and-improved offer for the 27-year-old, with the original offer of £100m being part-exchange rather than straight cash.
The report adds that Manchester City may be prepared to shell out £150m for the England skipper, but some players will be sold out first. Players like Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus might be the ones at the receiving end of the deal as they might be sold out to raise money for the player.
Kane scored four goals at Euro 2020 as England came up short against Italy in the final, and he is still waiting for his first major trophy in the game.
