The internet went wild as it was reported that the youngest wife of Alaafin of Oyo was sent packing for having sexual affairs with fuji icon, KWAM 1.
The recently crowned ‘Mayegun’ of Yorubaland has now come out to react to the allegations going around on the internet.
In a short video post on his social media, the ‘Talaso’ crooner described the allegations as a useless claim. He added that the claim was wishful thoughts of his critics that were against his new title.
There has been an old report that the title conferred on KWAM 1 by Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has earlier been conferred to someone earlier by Gani Adams, founder of Oodua Peoples’ Congress (OPC). However, the fuji legend was conferred with the title ‘Mayegun of Yorubaland’ in January 2020 by the Yoruba monarch.

King Wasiu Ayinde stressed that the news of Olori Badirat Adejoke been sent out because of extramarital affairs with him is an effort by detractors to dent his image.
Social media users have shared many thoughts on this issue. Some said according to traditions, KWAM 1 shouldn’t be alive now if he had an extramarital affair with Alaafin’s wife. Others have used this to bring up some other controversies surrounding the music icon in the past till date.
