FA Cup Round of 16 Games with Predictions
Leicester City vs Birmingham City
Leicester City will be aiming to bounce back from a shocking 1-0 loss in the English Premier League Matchday 29 against Norwich City. They are still without Jamie Vardy and have been struggling judging from their four games in the English Premier League. They will be hosting Championship side Birmingham City in the FA Cup quarter-finals. The Foxes have been however performing well in the FA Cup and we are positive they will do well as they will be playing in their King Power Stadium.
Brendan Rodgers has a number of high-profile players to choose from in the absence of Jamie Vardy. Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho will be leading the Foxes in tonight’s game. The Blues did well to eliminate Coventry City in the previous round, but they will face a tougher side this time around. With the form of the visitors we donot believe they can spoil the fun the home side. home win is our prediction.
Sheffield Wednesday vs Manchester City
Manchester City will looking to grab another trophy after beating Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup final on sunday. They match to the Hillsborough Stadium to battle Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup round of 16 games. The Citizens failed to defend their Premier League trophy and will also miss the Champions League for two years so they will try to win all the trophy they can now. Considering that Pep Guardiola is likely to field the best possible side against Sheffield Wednesday, we predict an away win in the game.
The Owls have been having their ups and downs in the Championship this season, and, as a result, they sit in the middle of the table. Seeing that Sheffield Wednesday have no balance defence we are sure they wont be able to hold the City attack line. A man to watch will be Kun Aguero who has been doing execellently well in the English Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Norwich City
After suffering a 3-2 loss to Wolverhampton in front of home fans, Tottenham will be aiming to give fans some cheer when they host Norwich City. They will be hosting them in their Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the FA Cup round of 16 game clash. Jose Mourinho’s trrops are still without Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son who are both noursing injury till the end of the season for Harry Kane. All eyes now shift to Lucas Moura and Jenuary signing Steven Bergwijn who has scored two goals already since joining the club.
Spurs are determined to put an end to their three-game losing run in all competitions but iut wont be an easy run for them. Norwich City have been doing well of late and since they are at the verge of going back to England’s second devision side Champions they will do all they can to at least win a trophy.
Jose Mourinho’s troops are hoping to grab all three points from the FA Cup round of 16 game. Norwich City will also not want to lose. Given that both teams are scoring side, our prediction will be on both teams to score, goal-goal. The last time they met in the English Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur won 2-1 but since their key players wont be playing home win should not be considered.
