Mazi, this one wey you dress like a true Hausa man today; I hope that you are not trying to impersonate the Minister of Education?
Egbon, you have come with your English. Which one be impersonate again?
Impersonate na to copy somebody and dress like that person till you look am and then pretend to be like that person.
Ehen, I don learn new word today. My wife bought this babariga and I have never won it so I decided to wear it today. You know now, to make her happy
You come look like correct Hausa man o.
No be bad thing, at least make I look like Alhaji today. Wetin do minister of education? Dem impersonate am?
Yes oo. One Yoruba boy do like say e be Minister of Education dey dupe people.
In this period wey EFCC dey catch people na im dis one start en own yahoo yahoo
No be yahoo yahoo, na 419 and he was declared wanted by ICPC
Wetin be the difference? Yahoo yahoo, 419 all na the same na. When dem catch am na the same jail all of them go enter. You no hear say dem dey arrest fake dibia for Ibadan? This scamming thing eh, government really dey attack am o
Mazi, abeg wetin be dibia?
Dibia na babalawo
You don’t mean it. Government is now arresting fake native doctors?
I dey tell you. They said it’s ‘juju scam’. It’s good, all these scammers coming in the name of helping people should start spending time in jail.
I gree. A lot of people are taking advantage of the fear and suffering of Nigerian citizens but what I don’t understand is the confusion of our anti-crime agencies. What is the difference between what the police, EFCC and ICPC do. They all fight crime but which crime do they specialize in?
EFCC na financial crime while the rest is general crime
Okay, if police and ICPC dey fight general crime, general crime no cover financial crime? Isn’t that why SARS a department in police is looking for yahoo yahoo boys?
Omo, me sef I don confuse o
Tor, na di confusion na im I be wan clarify so. Because from what I see even dem sef dey a little confused. I read say police and VIO for Lagos been fight over who suppose inspect cars.
But VIO means Vehicle Inspection Officer no be so?
Na so but police too will tell you that they have the right to inspect cars because it is a way to prevent or detect crime
This is not good. We don’t need confusion in our crime prevention agencies oo. If they are confused they won’t be able to do their work efficiently. As they dey already fighting, then what next?
If you ask me, who I wan ask? I truly wonder where we are headed as a country. It genuinely bothers me
God help us. We must keep the faith that it will be better no matter how bad it gets.
How bad again can it get? Look at our students reading under the moonlight because there is no power supply. Isn’t that bad enough?

Which school are you talking about?
Usman Danfodio University, there are pictures of students studying under the moonlight because no light for them to read inside their class or hostels
Wow, but you know the good thing about this story?
Mazi, please tell me
This story shows how resilient Nigerian students are. I mean, they are so determined that they chose to read under the moonlight than to go to bed. Thank God there was even moonlight for them to read under
I like the way you are looking at it even though I am still not happy about the news.
It is not something to be happy about; we can only look at the bright side
One day we might get tired of looking at that bright side oo
Till that day comes. Egbon, let me go and pick my daughter from the park; she is coming back from Enugu today
Ok, no problem. Go well.
