Cristiano Ronaldo Proving age is only but a Number
Cristiano Ronaldo reached another major milestone in his career after helping his side grab all three points in the return leg of the Uefa Champions League against Dynamo Kyiv. Juventus hosted Dynamo in their Allianz Stadium last night and they did well to entertain their visit well as they thrashed them 3-0.
Federico Chiesa opened the scoring for the Old Lady in the first 21 minutes of the game before Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata completed the triumph in the 57th and 66th minutes respectively. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid 35-year-old’s second-half goal rounded his career goals to a total of 750 goals.
Cristiano Ronaldo has now clocked 750 career goals across all competitions for clubs and country in his career. Ronaldo scored 450 goals during his reign at Real Madrid, 118 goals at Manchester United, five for Sporting CP and 75 so far for Juventus. He has scored a total of 102 goals for Portugal.
Ronaldo is now chasing Ali Daei’s 109 goals record before hanging his boots, he has just eight goals to beat that record. After achieving his 750th goal feat, took to social media to appreciate everyone who helped him in the height. However, the 35-year-old is not stopping as he already sets sight on his next target which reaching 800 goals in his career.
He said: 750 goals, 750 happy moments, 750 smiles in the faces of our supporters. “Thank you to all the players and coaches that helped me reach this amazing number, thank you to all my loyal opponents that made me work harder and harder every day. “But above all, thanks to my wonderful family, always present in my best and worst moments. Next stop: 800 goals! Let’s go!”
Cristiano Ronaldo who just won the Golden Football Award is set to make and break more records with his form and consistency, he has scored 75 goals for Italian side since joining them from Real Madrid. He is the second highest goal scorer after Zlanta Ibrahimovich who plays for AC Milan and are currently topping the Italian Serie A.
