Former Barcelona star Xavi Hernandez who spent the majority of his playing career with Barcelona, from 1998 to 2015 has review he will like to coach the club now. The former Barcelona man player more than 700 matches for the Spanish giant.

He stated coaching Qatar Stars League club Al Sadd, where he finished his playing career before becoming the coach. Xavi Harnendez has been approached before to manage the club but he rejected the offer right now he is willing to take the job. He said in an interview: “I am clear that I want to return to Barcelona, it gives me a lot of excitement.”

“Now that I have seen myself coaching I think I can bring things to the players. “But I made it clear to them that I saw myself in a project that started from zero and in which the decision-making was mine,” Xavi Hernandez concluded.

Barcelona have been showing interest in their former midfielder, they approached him for the job before Ernesto Valverde was sacked in January, but Xavi rejected the deal.
