Barcelona legend Xavi has hinted that he will like to come back to Barcelona to manage the team. He said he had desired to coach the Blaugrana since he left the club.
41-years-old Xavi was formerly linked with Barcelona’s managerial position after the sack of Ernesto Valverde, but it did not work out then. The former midfielder then said the time for him to coach the club was not due.
Xavi Speaks of his Love and Respect for Barca and Koeman
Xavi is currently coaching Al-Sadd, an outfit in the Qatari league. He has come out now to say although he is not in a rush to return to La Liga as a coach, he believes he will coach Barcelona soon.

According to him, he said: “Right now, I’m at Al-Sadd, and I’m doing well here. I’m at a big club in Asia, in Qatar. It’s the best team in Qatar.”
He also said he could not tell of the future as he respects Barcelona and [Ronald] Koeman, the current head coach. Xavi said the truth is that he will like to coach Barcelona, but he is still working on himself as there is still time for him to prepare.
Concerning the club’s poor form, he said he wished them the best, and he hopes the upcoming presidential election will favour the club.
