I’ve tried so many things and I can’t seem to lose that weight. If this seems to be your issue, here are some reasons why and try to make those necessary changes
- Working out too much
You’ve started a new workout routine and you’re finally getting a hang of it. You get so excited and if you could do that three times in a week, then why not every day right.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. The body needs to rest. When you work out too much, you exact stress to your central nervous system. You put your body into too much stress which leads to the release of stress hormones. This can throw your body into a total wreck.
Overtraining can lead to injuries, muscle tear and strain which makes you prone to getting ill. It can hinder you from losing that weight.
2. Not getting enough sleep
When you’re not getting enough sleep, your body is overworked. It causes the same damages as when you’re working out too much.
- Not Eating Enough
While trying to lose weight, it is not healthy to stop eating. The healthier option is to eating regularly but healthier. Think of the body fat as a backup fuel source. When you’re not eating regularly, the body uses the body fat. What happens is that the body assumes there’s a trauma and releases stress hormone. When you don’t eat enough, the body’s metabolism rate slows down and your body doesn’t want to waste what it has.
Everything becomes about conservation at this point and losing weight is not going to be top on your bodies priority list. Similarly, when you eat too much junk you gain weight so you just need to make healthier choices by being mindful of what goes into your body solid or liquid.
Add this analysis to overtraining and it can really stall your weight loss. Your body will be fighting against you to hold on to what it has. This is when injuries and sickness can also happen as your body may be trying to slow things down as much as possible. Your body needs consistent fuel in order to function properly and lose weight.
