English Premier League side Watford has completed the signing of Super Eagles star player Samuel Kalu. The Premier League side unveiled the player recently. The Super Eagles star on his unveiling revealed that Manchester United’s striker Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard helped him to grow as a professional football player.

Samuel Kalu also said he admires Ronaldo and Hazard a lot, adding that he likes watching them in action. The former Bordeaux player told Watford’s official website: “I’m the kind of player that plays like Eden Hazard, I admire him a lot. I also watch Cristiano Ronaldo.” “These two players I watch a lot, they help me grow as a professional football player.”
The player said he knows most of the players in the club as they are his countrymen, he said: “I know [Emmanuel] Dennis very well, and [William] Troost-Ekong, we played together at Gent. I also know [Peter] Etebo. We have played together in the national team.”
“They will help me a lot. I saw Dennis and Etebo and they were very happy to see me. I know they are going to help me settle at the club.” Watford is currently battling to escape relegation, and with the arrival of the 24-year-old Super Eagles star, they are hopeful to escape relegation. They are currently in the 19th place position with two games outstanding.
