Lille president Gerard Lopez is willing to drop the market value for Nigerian 21-year-old striker Victor Osimhen. Many European clubs have been bidding for the attacker with the likes of Liverpool, Juventus Leicester and even Barcelona all looking to sign the bronze Afcon medalist.
Victor Osimhen has attracted the interest of many big clubs since joining the French Ligue One side. The 21-year-old scored 18 goals and recorded six assists in 36 appearances across all competitions for Lille. The clubs’ president Gerald Lopez initially placed a price tag of €80-90m on the Nigerian.
The club has seen that they will spend much money to keep the player and so they are ready to reduced his market value, they are now willing to sell the striker for as low as €55m to any club that is interested in the player.
With the French Ligue One already over, and other leagues set to resume to complete their leagues after the long break due to coronavirus outbreak. Most of the leagues in Europe will be ending their leagues at most August and the transfer window will be opened from June which is next month. Victor Osimhen is the current number 9 man for the Super Eagles of Nigeria after Odion Ighalo retired from international football. The young lad has been doing well since assuming the position he refered to as the next big attacker in Nigeria.
