Ukraine 24-year-old striker Artem Biesiedin has been banned for one year by Uefa after failing an anti-doping test. The Ukraine international who currently plays for Dynamo Kyiv was found guilty of doping and so Uefa has placed a one year ban on him. Biesiedin recorded an adverse reading after playing for club side Dynamo Kiev against Malmo in the Europa League group stage in November.
The ban is backdated to 19 December, the date of his provisional suspension, and no appeal was lodged by the player. Biesiedin, who has two international goals for his country Ukraine will be free to play at Euro 2021 after the ban and since the tournament has been moved he could still be in the tournament.
The Euro2020 was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and moved to 2021, the event is scheduled to take place across 12 European cities. Artem Biesiedin could still feature in the in the tournament because by then he must havecompleted his doping ban.
