Manchester United have shown interest in England and Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier. United wants to sign the player they are unwilling to meet his £20m valuations placed by the Spanish club Atletico Madrid. The former Burnley and Manchester City 30-year-old right-back won the Spanish league title with Atletico last season after joining Tottenham.
Manchester United in Talk with Kieran Trippier

Kieran Trippier is keen on returning to the English Premier, with Manchester United is the favourite place to join. His family in the northwest of England are all in support of his move to Manchester United. The only challenge now is the price for the player.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees Trippier’s versatility as an asset, and so he wants to sign the player to add to his team. The England international played their last game, which ended 1-0 against Croatia, and he played as a left-back in England’s Euro 2020.
United are unwilling to meet Atletico’s current valuation given the player’s age and the fact that he has one year left on his contract. His release clause is said to be 40m euros (£34m).
