Tottenham Battle Everton in EPL Matchday 1

Tottenham Hotspur face Everton in the English Premier League day 2 Game

Tottenham Hotspur kick-off the new English Premier League season with a home fixture against Everton. Spurs failed to impress in the last English Premier League season, and, no doubt, they are eager to make amends for the unsuccessful campaign. Their new signings which are former Wolves defender Matt Doherty and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will help boost the squad, and also with Giovani Lo Celso signings a permanent deal.

The likes of Kyle Walker-Peters and Jan Vertonghen are no longer part of the team as they have all signed for different clubs. Anyhow, we are positive that Jose Mourinho’s troops will go for a win in Sunday’s showdown. Tottenham Hotspur manager “The Special One” as he is called has a full squad to choose from ahead of the season opener.

The Toffees, on the other hand, did well to sign three new players to their team, they signed James Rodriguez, former Watford midfielder and Napoli midfielder Allan in the summer transfer window, and, no doubt, the Brazil international is capable of helping the team improve their game. Anyhow, home win should be considered as Everton are not regarded as good travellers.
