Club Brugge Nigerian David Okereke Test Positive for Coronavirus
Super Eagle and Belgian Pro League champions Club Brugge Nigerian forward have been confirmed to have tested positive for coronavirus, this was made known by the club as they announced it on their social media handle. Their Nigerian forward David Okereke has been with the club since the start of the league and has been fine but following the most recent test conducted on players before training, it was confirmed he is positive for coronavirus.
According to the report released it reads: ”David Okereke tests positive for Covid-19.” The attacker was immediately quarantined and will be retested next week.” a tweet on the club’s official Twitter handle on Tuesday. The 23-year-old was on target in Brugge’s 4-1 home win against Waasland-Beveren last Saturday.
In the ongoing league, he has scored once in four league appearances for Philip Clement’s men so far, Okereke linked up with Club Brugge from Serie B club Spezia last summer.
