Super Eagles of Nigeria vs Ecuador: Player Rating
FRANCIS UZOHO 8/10
The Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper posted another superb outing. The goals would have been more but his good performance helped the team, he made some vital saves and organised his defence well.
CHIDOZIE AWAZIEM 4/10
The former Leganes right-back was at fault for the only goal conceded by his side in the game. Awaziem was caught out of position many times and was duly replaced by Ola Aina after the break.

WILLIAM TROOST-EKONG 7/10
The Watford who captained the team posted a solid display. Helped ward off the threats of the opposing attackers.
SEMI AJAYI 7/10
Had another good game. Certainly proved he is ready to be a regular starter in the team.
CALVIN BASSEY 7/10
Rangers left-back Calvin Bassey was superb again in his defensive role, he made his usual forays upfront and was solid at the back.
JOE ARIBO 7/10
The Rangers man was lively all through. He was unlucky not to get a goal in the game.
ALEX IWOBI 7/10
He was one of Nigeria’s top performers in the game. Alex Iwobi blended well with Joe Aribo in midfield and the two players were very good in their positions.
MOSES SIMON 6/10
the Super Eagles hitman showed some glimpses of his best during the game, but he was not at his best as he performed just a little above average.
SANI FAISAL 4/10
Started the game brightly, but fizzled out afterwards. He didn’t do much to justify his selection.
TEREM MOFFI 6/10
The Lorient forward was denied a penalty in the first half. He needs to do more to prove he is ready for a big role in the team.
CYRIEL DESSERS 5/10
The striker fluffed two good chances in the game. He looked off the pace at times.

OLA AINA 6/10
Replaced Chidozie Awaziem after the break. Did well in defence and also support the attack.
