Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has revealed that at least two players from the players who played Cameroon in the first friendly last week will miss the second one. The manager announced that William Troost Ekong and Jamilu Collins would miss their next game.
Troost Ekong and Jamilu Collins out of Super Eagles and Cameroon Clash
Gernot Rohr insists that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will need not panic in their absence. He said the team would cope without the two defenders. Watford star player William Troost-Ekong and Collins picked up injuries in the first friendly last Friday and was ruled out of Tuesday’s clash at the Stadion Weiner Neustadt.

The team now has four defenders available for the game but is not worried about trying other players in the camp. According to the head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, he said: “Ekong and Collins are out. I think we’ll have to manage the difficult situation.”
He also said: “It’s an opportunity to play with three defenders only, to try something different.” “That’s why we’re happy to have the second game.”
