Super Eagles Player Odion Ighalo Voted Player of the Month for May in Al Shabab

Odion Ighalo was in remarkable form in May for Al Shabab as they push for the title, which Al-Hilal eventually won. He scored in four consecutive games. The former Watford and Manchester United star scored six goals and provided two assists to be voted the club’s best player last month.
His goals were not enough to help them win the league title, but at least it helped the club finish second in the league table, which means they qualify for next season’s Asian Champions League. Since joining the club side, he has scored nine goals after making just 13 appearances.
