Anele Ngcongca of South Africa Dies in Ghastly Motor Accident
Mamelodi Sundowns and South African star player Anele Ngcongca have been reported dead after he was involved in a ghastly motor accident. The South African football family has been thrown into tears following the news of his death. The accident happened early this morning.
Anele Ngcongca is 33-years-old and he was on the verge of joining Amazulu FC on a season-long loan deal with an option to sign him on a permanent basis before he died. Anele Ngcongca played for Belgian club Genk where Nigerian Paul Onuchu is currently doing wonders before returning to his country South Africa to complete his career.
Reports have it that Ngcongca sustained severe injuries during a crash that happened this morning. The late defender kicked off his career at Fortune FC in 2003 and spent four years with them before moving to Belgium. He was at the Belgian club from 2007 till 2016 but spent his last season with them on loan at French club Troyes.
He returned home in 2016 and signed for Mamelodi Sundowns and was with them until he agreed to join Amazulu on loan this year. Anele Ngcongca also earned over 50 senior international caps with Bafana Bafana. He was in the 2010 FIFA World Cup which South Afrioca hosted.
