Smoothies are a healthy and inexpensive way to cool down. Want to take something sweet other than a carbonated soft drink? Make a smoothie! Want to take something lighter than a meal but still calorie dense? Make a smoothie! You’re a bad cook but want something really easy to make? A smoothie is the answer
Smoothies are easy to make and a wonderful way to kickstart or end your day. Here are a few tips you need in order to make a fabulous smoothie!
1. Buy a blender with at least an 800-watt motor. This helps in crushing the fruits perfectly.
2. Bananas are to smoothies what tomatoes are to jollof rice. They uplift the final product! Peel, slice, and freeze them. This go-to smoothie recipe ingredient thickens your smoothies without taking over other flavors.
3. Add smoothie recipe ingredients like milk, yogurt, water, or juice first to get the blender rolling smoothly. Then proceed with lighter, drier ingredients, like leafy greens, followed by heavy ingredients like ice and fruit pieces.
