Real Madrid Returns to Winning Ways

Real Madrid made amends from their poor start to 2022 after losing 1-0 in the first year 2022 in La Liga to make a stunning 3-1 victory over Alcoyano in the Copa del Rey last 32 for the second year in a row. The last Timothy two met, the game ended in favour of home team Alcoyano, but the Spanish giants won this time.

On this occasion, Eder Militao headed Carlo Ancelotti’s side into the lead before Dani Vega’s fine solo goal levelled for the home team Alcoyano. Real Madrid Spanish star player Marco Asensio scored from Eden Hazard’s pass to restore the victory for the away team. An own goal from 42-year-old keeper Juan Jose sealed the win for the Spanish La Liga leaders.

Earlier in the day, Barcelona needed a comeback to win a third-tier Spanish club side Linares 2-1. In the game, Brazilian star defender Dani Alves, the newest returnee to the club, made his return debut.
