Marcus Rashford Scores to Give England Three Points Over Romania
Manchester United wore the skipper band for England, and he became the hero of the day as he scored from the penalty spot to secure victory over Romania in their final warm-up match. Gareth Southgate’s side hit the ball twice in search of a goal before the goal came.

Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s header was the first to hit the bar before Manchester United Dortmund target Jadon Sancho found the bar as well. The penalty was awarded after Jack Grealish was fouled before England were awarded a second spot-kick. Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson almost scored but had his attempt saved.
Jordan Henderson is the latest England player to return from injury. United skipper Harry Maguire is still in the recovery room while Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is still out of the tournament through an injury he sustained against Austria.
