Mauricio Pochettino Bags First Trophy with PSG
Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has opened his trophy record with his new club side Paris St-Germain. He won his first trophy with the club after Paris St-Germain beat Marseille 2-1 to win the Trophee des Champions in Lens.
It was the Argentine’s only third game in the club, and he has already lifted a trophy. Mauricio Pochettino was appointed the French Ligue 1 champions manager earlier this month, and it is undoubtedly a good start for the former Espanyol coach.

Mauro Icardi opened the scoring for Paris St-Germain from a close range and won a penalty later in the game which former Barcelona forward Neymar scored for the second.
Former West Ham playmaker Dmitri Payet scored a late goal for Marseille, but it was only a consolation goal as the game ended 2-1 in favour of Paris St-Germain. The Trophee des Champions is the Community Shield in France, is contested between the league winner and cup winners.
The spent four months in Spain with Espanyol and won nothing, and he also managed Southampton where he spent 16 months before joining Tottenham where he stayed five and a half years.
