Barcelona defender legendary defender Gerard Pique has revealed that he would rather die than join Real Madrid shortly. Pique said he couldn’t join the following Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid. The defender said this ahead of Barcelona’s La Liga clash with Real Betis on Saturday.

When asked what it would take to get him considering an offer from Real Madrid, he told Spanish television show El Homiguero, “It’s absolutely impossible.” He further stressed it by saying: “There’s nothing. I would rather die than go to Madrid.”
The Spanish defender has enjoyed success and won trophies at Barcelona with seven-time Ballon d’Or winners, Lionel Messi, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Luis Suarez and Neymar. The former Manchester United star has won eight LaLiga, seven Copa del Rey trophies, three Champions League trophies, and a Euros and World Cup with Spain.
