Super Eagles international Peter Olayinka celebrates with his tea-mates Slavia Prague as they were crowned Czech Super Liga champions for the third time in a row. It was their 21st league trophy The Nigerian was instrumental in their pursuit of glory.
Peter Olayinka’s Slavia Prague Crowned Czech Super Liga Champions
Peter Olayinka found the back of the net six times and provided three assists in a total of 20 league appearances for Slavia Prague this season.
The 25-year-old joined the Czech side from Belgian top side KAA Gent in 2018 and since then has been helping the team in all their games including the Champions League and the Europa League. They were knocked out of the 2020/21 Europa League quarter finals by Arsenal after beating and knocking out Jose Mourinho’s Tottenha Hotspur in a very remarkable way.
The winger won the double during his first season at the club. He has so far scored 16 goals in 63 league appearances for the Červenobílí and his side ready for the 2021/22 Uefa Champions League as they were crowned the league champions.
