Wolves forward Patrick Cutrone has joined Spanish La Liga side Valencia on a season-long loan until the end of the season. The 23-years-old Italian striker has been struggling for playing time since 2020/21
season.
Patrick Cutrone Joins Valencia on Season Long Loan
Patrick Cutrone made just three Premier League starts for Wolves since he arrived from Italian top side AC Milan for in July two years ago. He spent the whole of 2020 on loan with Fiorentina in Serie A, scoring five goals in 34 appearances for the Serie A side.
In January, Patrick Cutrone returned to Wolves featuring in four games, including their FA Cup victory over non-league Chorley. The striker, capped once by his country in 2018, scored 13 Serie A goals in 63 appearances for Milan before moving to Molineux.
But he has struggled for game time at Wolves, despite the severe skull injury suffered by Raul Jimenez. He remains behind Fabio Silva, Pedro Neto and also new signing Willian Jose in their pecking order.
