Leon Balogun Could be leaving Brighton & Hove Albion Next Season
Super Eagles and Brighton & Hove Albion defender Leon Balogun future with the English Premier League side is currently under threat, the manager of his current club Graham Potter says the club will make a decision on the future of Nigeria defender at the end of the season.
Leon Balogun joined the English Premier League side from the German Bundesliga FSV Mainz in 2018 since he came to the Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion he has not had a good plying time. The 31-year-old only made eight league appearances during his first season at the club and this season is worst he had to be lined to the Championship side.
Leon Balogun failed to feature in a league game for Brighton before joining club Wigan Athletic on transfer deadline day on loan. the manager of Brighton & Hove Albion Graham Potter speaking about the future of the Nigerian with the club he told that: ”All the guys (Balogun, White, Clarke, Knockaert and Molumby) who are on loan will stay and finish their loan spells.”He made this known in at a media conference on Sunday
“Then we will us discuss at the end of the season what the next plan is for them. “Each individual is different, of course, and we will make those decisions at the end of the season,” he concluded. Leon Balogun has so far made made six league appearances for Wigan since his arrival at the club before the coronavirus pandermic made the league to be on suspension.
