Asisat Oshoala Wins Queen of the Match as Barca Beat French side in Friendly Game
Super Falcons and Barcelona striker Asisat Oshoala scored two goals in Barcelona women’s 3-0 win against Montpellier, in a friendly game in Spain on Sunday, The game was played at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gampar stadium behind closed doors as fans has not yet been allowed to come into the stadium because of the global pandemic coronavirus.
After a goalless first half Oshoala broke the deadlock in the 64th minute to put her side in front, she scored her second to double the lead and make the scores 2-0 in 86 minutes of the game. the third goal came in two minutes into added time from Jenni Hermoso, the game ended 3-0 in favour of the Spanish women champions.Oshoala and her Barcelona teammates were crowned league champions after the campaign was ended prematurely due to the coronavirus outbreak
Barcelona will face Montpellier again in another friendly game in France next week Saturday, and do hope the Nigerian will still be at her best to help her team win again as she has always done.
